I ordered 1b and the color I received was brown. I could be wrong, but it looked as though they dyed the brown hair black because the black color started to fade. The 1b hair should simply be listed online as “out of stock.” This also happened with loc extensions that I recommended my client to order from Royal Kinks and Coils. My client wanted black extensions and they told her after she paid that they were out of stock (not listed online). The owner offered to color the brown extensions black to which my client agreed. After one wash, the color bled out. It seemed they deceived my client and they used a cheap, temporary (rinse) color instead of permanent black dye. Fading is normal over time, but not after one shampoo. I was embarrassed as a stylist that my client experienced this and it made me look like I was an unreliable source for quality loc extensions.
